The Client: American Association of Pediatrics – Indiana Chapter

Project Description: The Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Pediatrics needed a website that would serve as an effective tool in informing and educating its membership and visitors. Online Architecture met on several occasions with key chapter members to talk about their visions for the site, as well as the goals they hoped to meet.

An initial design was drafted, and after feedback from the chapter, edits were incorporated and a final concept was approved. Online Architecture worked with INAAP to gather content and populate the pages on the site, providing an area for staff to review the ongoing project as it progressed. The site was launched in 2009, complete with a password-protected administrative area allowing staff to sign in and add or edit content. Online Architecture also provided training for staff charged with content management.

Prior to launching the site, the INAAP communicated with many of its constituents through a printed newsletter. Online Architecture worked with the organization to develop an electronic version of the newsletter and identified an email marketing service to utilize in distribution. Through the implementation of an electronic newsletter, INAAP was able to save thousands of dollars on printing and postage.
